As entrepreneurship and venture capital continue to grow in the city of Chicago, Booth is helping lead the way with distinguished faculty in the area, a significant increase in student interest, and the growth of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship. The Chicago Innovation Exchange provides space for proof-of-concept work, business incubation, collaboration opportunities, and programming for new ventures by faculty, students, and staff, as well as local community entrepreneurs. Competitions, such as the New Venture Challenge, not only train students on starting a business but have also led to the creation of a number of successful start-ups including BenchPrep, Power2Switch, and Bump Technologies, In addition, classes such as the Venture Capital Lab help students learn about the industry by getting hands-on experience.
At Chicago Booth we believe that no two firms are the same. Whether you are recruiting for a co-founder position geared towards our alumni or for an intern that can do a little bit of everything, our team can help your company create a targeted recruiting strategy.
