Paul Deneve, ’03 (EXP-8), is bringing his brand management and luxury goods know-how to Apple Inc.
In July, the departing chief executive of French designer Yves Saint Laurent Group joined Apple as vice president of special projects reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Deneve previously worked for the Cupertino, California-based tech giant in Europe from 1990 to 1997.
Deneve’s expertise leading high-end fashion brands—he previously held top posts at Nina Ricci and Lanvin—will wear well as Apple reportedly prepares to make the leap into wearable technology.
